On Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 7:30PM, Great Valley Presbyterian Church hosted noted artist Richard Bollinger in “An Evening with the Artist.” Mr. Bollinger presented a multi-media program showing his process for producing a painting, which in this instance is a portrait of the sanctuary and Session House of Great Valley Presbyterian Church as they may have looked on a winter afternoon a century ago.
Bollinger’s painting was... commissioned to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the congregation’s existence in the Great Valley. The completed full-color painting is hung in the church’s Dickerson Hall as a permanent tribute to the faithfulness of God.
