... arrange a baptism at Great Valley
Baptism in the Reformed tradition is a sign and seal of welcome into the covenant community

At Great Valley, we baptize both children of believing parents and believing adults who have not previously been baptised. The Reformed position is that the ceremony of baptism does not accomplish anything in itself, but that in baptism, believers commit themselves to faithfulness to the Lord and to his church, and the congregation commits itself to aid parents in raising their children to be the Lord's disciples.

In order for those commitments to be meaningful and mutual, one or both of the parents shall be a member of the congregation. We invite those who seek to have their children baptised to take part in the worship and the fellowship of the congregation so they may determine if Great Valley is the place they want to make their church home.
