If you answer “yes” to one or more of the following questions:
Do you feel as if “something” is missing from your life? Do you feel broken or lost? Do you wonder what happens when we die? Do you feel as if you are just going through the routine mechanics of being a Christian? Are you new to a church or parish and want to develop meaningful relationships? Do you find it difficult to answer your children’s questions about God? Are you newly married? Are you going through life with a grade school understanding of your faith? Has your faith become “dry” or boring? Are you active in the church and want to have a deeper relationship with Jesus? Do you question the relevance of Jesus to our lives today? Are you one that goes to Church only at Christmas or Easter Seasons?
Then perhaps attending an Alpha Course will help you to find the answer to these questions

|
We come together over a meal and refreshments. After dinner, there is a video presentation by speaker Nicky Gumbel on topics listed on the back of this brochure.
After each talk there is a small-group time for everyone to discuss any questions or issues they have. This gives an opportunity to get to know each other and learn together.
Alpha is a place where no question is seen as too simple or too hostile.
Come for one session or all 13. You make the decision.

What People Say About Alpha |
|
More than six million people in over 148 countries from denominations from Baptist to Roman Catholic have completed the Alpha Course. Resources are available in 45 languages and Braille. Hundreds of Catholic parishes and protestant churches have offered the Course. Here are some typical comments from people who have attended:
For as long as I can remember, through my childhood, teens, and adult years, I have asked questions. One question I constantly asked myself was: “Do I believe in God?” I had no answer and it bothered me... By the end of the third Alpha evening I had come to a few realizations that were truly stunning for me ... I knew that Jesus died for me and that I could never ‘sit on the fence’ again. Jill
I had many issues about my faith and my Church. Attending Alpha has enabled me to start looking at these issues from a different perspective. Mike P.
I went through life working and making money and achieving goals but not getting on my knees and thanking God for giving me the grace, strength and knowledge to reach these goals. Through Alpha I have learned that God is there and you must take the time to talk to Him. If you don’t you will just wander and not know where you are or where you should go. Pete C.
Alpha is wonderful — life changing! Alpha answered and clarified all the basics for me and put me on firm ground to travel forward on my journey with God. Mary
From the first meeting we felt this is what had been missing from our lives. It felt like coming home. Margaret and Keith |
