This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. (John 2:11)
Main thoughts: I. In Jesus, earth’s emptiness is exchanged for heaven’s fullness. II. In Jesus, legal prescription is filled by living power. III. In Jesus, law’s inadequacy is overcome by love’s impulse. IV. In Jesus, empty ceremony is replaced by exuberant celebration.
Questions: In Jesus, the glory of God is displayed for the whole world to see. · Have you seen it? · Have you fallen down and worshiped Him? · Are you living in fullness, in power in love and in joy?
