Worship Services

Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.
For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 100

11AM Worship Service – Worship at Great Valley is a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, as the  congregation gathers to praise the Lord, to give Him thanks, to approach Him in prayer and to hear his Word. We employ and enjoy a variety of musical expressions, from traditional and contemporary hymns to praise songs and choruses. On any given Sunday you can hear organ and keyboard, guitars and brass, sanctuary choir and praise team, congregational singing and individual vocalists -- all offering praise to the God who is worthy of the very best we have to offer.

Child care is  provided in the Sunday School rooms during the Worship Service for children aged 3 months to Kindergarten. Children in Grades 1-5 attend worship up through the reading of scripture, when they are released to attend an age-appropriate Junior Church program (the time for them to be dismissed is noted in the bulletin and also announced from the pulpit).

Following the service, there is a coffee fellowship time in the adjacent Chapel, which is a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. We invite all in attendance to join us in that time of fellowship.

Sunday Evening – From time to time we schedule special Sunday evening services, which typically begin at 6PM. Those services may be a lecture series, a mission presentation, a hymn sing or an evening of Christmas carols, a "praise and pie-eaty" celebration or a "Sunday Sundae" event.  Check the Sunday bulletin or the upcoming events calendar to find out what is currently scheduled.
