Lessons from Proverbs

Led by Dave McDonald with Keith Fink, Paul Reader,

Jonathan Schuck and Jim Shackleton

During the months of January and February we will be studying the book of Proverbs together. The major theme of the book of Proverbs is wisdom. In Proverbs the words wise and wisdom are used at least 125 times because the aim of the book is to help us acquire and apply God’s wisdom to the decisions and activities of daily life. Our study will be led by different teachers using materials from Warren Wiersbe’s study guide “Proverbs: God’s Guidebook to Wise Living.”

Please join us as we study and discuss God’s word together and as we seek to encourage one another to apply God’s wisdom in our lives.

Holy Spirit: God at Work

Led by Rev. Robert Scott

This  class will seek a better understanding of the ministry of God the Holy  Spirit. We will survey His activity throughout the Old Testament and  take a look at His role in the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. But  primarily we will focus on the Spirit’s post-Pentecost ministry during  this present Church Age. His work of emPowering Believers, His enhancing  of Performance through spiritual gifting, His commitment to Purifying  Believers and his core essential ministry of mediating Christ’s living  Presence in and among Believers, that Christ may be known, loved,  trusted, honored, praised and worshiped!
