Considering Anew our Relationship with God
Led by Jim Shackleton
How would you describe your relationship to God? Is that a tough question to answer? Is it easier to talk about external characteristics of this relationship (benefits, or gifts, or principles) ... than how you actually relate to our Lord?
This class is intended to present a thoughtful framework for evaluating our own relationship to our great God, and subsequently, motives behind our actions. May it help all of us (new believers, mature disciples, and not-yet followers of Christ) to think anew about this relationship, and how we are often subtly side tracked, with little thought, toward lesser loves.
Each of the 6 classes will include plenty of Scripture, along with time for questions and answers.
Colossians
Led by Paul Reader and Brian Hilton
Colossians is a brief letter written to the church in Colossae nearly 2000 years ago. In this short book, we are invited to recognize the unseen spiritual realities which are true of believers because of who Jesus is. God calls us to align our lives to reflect that truth more and more as we are sanctified into the likeness of the King. Join us as we spend 6 weeks in this fantastically rich book!
