Philadelphia Homeless Run
Helping the homeless in Center City

Repairing homes and restoring faith
Good Works Inc. helps economically disadvantaged homeowners in Chester County to stay in their homes by making their homes warmer, safer, and drier. Great Valley provides the volunteer labor to ensure a safer home for Good Works’ homeowners.
Sheltering the homeless

Bridge of Hope
Helping young mothers get back on track
Bridge of Hope helps homeless families find stability through permanent housing, financial self-sufficiency, and a sense of worth from being a child of God. Great Valley provides mentoring to young mothers to help them get back on track.
The Lord's Pantry
Collecting food and paper products
Great Valley’s Community Pantry collects fresh, frozen, and canned food as well as paper products. Each month, the Great Valley team delivers these items to a food pantry for those less fortunate in our community. He's mighty to save. We're happy to serve.
Providing hope to women
Birthright is a pregnancy care center that provides unwed mothers in need with a pregnancy test, a listening ear, medical care, maternity clothing, short-term housing, and financial assistance. Great Valley members volunteer at Birthright.
Bringing Christmas to Children
The Giving Tree initiative provides Christmas gifts to local children whose parents might otherwise be unable to purchase clothes and toys for them. GVPC participates with other local churches to provide these items.
In His Service
Supporting you at life's crossroads
Great Valley’s In His Service team creates a warm and welcoming environment for families and friends of recently deceased loved ones. This team provides opportunities for families and loved ones to fellowship and support each other following a funeral service at Great Valley.
Holiday Meal Delivery
Join us in delivering baskets of love
Great Valley's Holiday Meal Team delivers meal baskets to families in need immediately prior to Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays. Your gift of an hour of time can help bring joy and a warm meal to a family with few resources. Call the church office to register to help.
Helping relationships. Changing lives
The challenges we experience throughout the many stages of life sometimes necessitate the help of professional counselors. Great Valley Presbyterian Church has a partnership with Kairos Counseling Services to address such needs. Funds are available, if needed, to help cover the costs of these services. If you are in need, please contact the church office.
Operation Christmas Child
Sharing God's love around the world
Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. Great Valley provides several hundred Christmas shoeboxes to children in Third-World Countries. The shoeboxes are filled with toys, school supplies and books as well as the message of Jesus’ birth and love for them.
Hope for Kidz
Sponsor a Haitian child's education
Associated with Reciprocal Ministries International, Hope for Kidz provides an opportunity to sponsor a Haitian child’s education. The money donated ensures one year of school tuition, a school uniform, books and a hot lunch for each child.
