Philadelphia Homeless Run

Helping the homeless in Center City

The Philadelphia Homeless Run delivers food, clothing, blankets, and words of encouragement to people in need in Center City Philadelphia.  Each month Great Valley's team collects supplies, prepares food, and delivers needed supplies to 300-400 men, women, and children.

Good Works

Repairing homes and restoring faith

Good Works Inc. helps economically disadvantaged homeowners in Chester County to stay in their homes by making their homes warmer, safer, and drier. Great Valley provides the volunteer labor to ensure a safer home for Good Works’ homeowners.

City Gate

Sheltering the homeless

City Gate provides homeless men in Coatesville with meals, shelter, and a place to sleep in a welcoming Christian atmosphere. Great Valley delivers bread and other supplies to the shelter for their daily needs.

Bridge of Hope

Helping young mothers get back on track

Bridge of Hope helps homeless families find stability through permanent housing, financial self-sufficiency, and a sense of worth from being a child of God. Great Valley provides mentoring to young mothers to help them get back on track.

The Lord's Pantry

Collecting food and paper products

Great Valley’s Community Pantry collects fresh, frozen, and canned food as well as paper products. Each month, the Great Valley team delivers these items to a food pantry for those less fortunate in our community. He's mighty to save. We're happy to serve.

Birthright

Providing hope to women

Birthright is a pregnancy care center that provides unwed mothers in need with a pregnancy test, a listening ear, medical care, maternity clothing, short-term housing, and financial assistance. Great Valley members volunteer at Birthright.

Giving Tree

Bringing Christmas to Children

The Angel Tree initiative provides Christmas gifts to children of prisoners who might otherwise be forgotten during the Christmas season. Great Valley participates by purchasing holiday gifts for these children on behalf of their incarcerated parent.

In His Service

Supporting you at life's crossroads

Great Valley’s In His Service team creates a warm and welcoming environment for families and friends of recently deceased loved ones. This team provides opportunities for families and loved ones to fellowship and support each other following a funeral service at Great Valley.

Holiday Meal Delivery

Join us in delivering baskets of love

Great Valley's Holiday Meal Team delivers meal baskets to families in need immediately prior to Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays. Your gift of an hour of time can help bring joy and a warm meal to a family with few resources. Call the church office to register to help.

Operation Christmas Child

Sharing God's love around the world

Operation Christmas Child is sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. Great Valley provides several hundred Christmas shoeboxes to children in Third-World Countries. The shoeboxes are filled with toys, school supplies and books as well as the message of Jesus’ birth and love for them.

Hope for Kidz

Sponsor a Haitian child's education

Associated with Reciprocal Ministries International, Hope for Kidz provides an opportunity to sponsor a Haitian child’s education. The money donated ensures one year of school tuition, a school uniform, books and a hot lunch for each child.
