Christian Education Electives for January/February 2026
Starting Sunday, January 4 we will offer two new electives during our Adult Christian Education Hour (CEH). These new classes meet from 9 am to 10 am on Sunday morning through the end of February.

About the Event
You can choose from two classes for this round of electives (click "read more" for full descriptions). Classes meet from 9am to 10am each Sunday morning. While not required to attend, your registration is helpful to us in determining the classrooms and materials for our classes.
Song of Songs
The Song of Songs (or Solomon) is a collection of passionate Hebrew poems (songs) celebrating physical, and spiritual love between a young woman (the Shulamite) and her beloved. Some describe them as in the form of an opera. Jews recite these songs during the Passover celebrations, allegorically signifying the relationship between God and his people Israel. But how does the Church and the individual believer interpret them? Are the songs simply and only an expression of holy love and intimacy, as some believe?
