Study in 2 Kings (Chapters 1-18)

Led by Rees Hunt

This course will focus on the events in the Northern Kingdom of Israel with a focus on the ministry of Elijah and his successor Elisha. We’ll see how, despite God revealing His message through the prophets, the nation of Israel did not repent and eventually fell to the Assyrian Empire. Additionally, we will study scripture from the Old and New Testament to illustrate the significance the events of 2 Kings in the broader context of God’s redemptive plan.

Wrestling with Discouragement, Depression and Anxiety

Led by Paul Reader

Many of the saints in Scripture struggled with discouragement, depression, and anxiety. Today, there is often a stigma around those who battle these things...as though real believers should not or will not wrestle with such things. Scripture, however tells us that not only is it common for the saints to wrestle with these things, but that often, God chooses to meet us precisely in and through such wrestlings. Join us as we take a look at saints and Scriptures that lead us into hope when wrestling with discouragement, depression, and anxiety.
