About the Event
The 80th anniversary of "The Day of Infamy," when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor is December 7, 2021. Beyond the horror of that day and the terrible war that followed, there is another story that is truly remarkable – the story of the lead pilot of the raid on Pearl Harbor, Mitsuo Fuchida, who shouted the war cry, “Tora, Tora, Tora!” After the war, he miraculously came to know Jesus Christ as Savior through a tract entitled, “I Was a Prisoner of Japan,” written by Jacob DeShazer, one of the famous Doolittle Raiders.
At First Thursday, we will hear the inspiring story of these two men! Devotions begin at 11:45 AM, followed by lunch at noon, and the program at 1 PM. If you will be attending lunch, please sign up here!
