The leaders of our own denomination (EPC), along with the leaders of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) and the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA) have called for believers to “set aside Good Friday, April 10, as a day of prayer and fasting to cry out for God’s help in addition to a day of worship.” This is a significant action.
How you can participate? Obviously, you can choose to personally respond to the call of these denominations through prayer, fasting, and worship at any time during that day. However out of a desire to respond corporately as a local fellowship of believers, the leaders of our congregation are calling on the people of Great Valley to participate in a prayer vigil from 7am-7pm on Good Friday.
We have broken this time period up into 15-minute time slots. We ask that you sign up to pray during one or more of those slots by clicking the Register Now button above. We will strive to update the list below daily. Consider connecting with others who are signed up at the same time as you to pray together over the phone or via web conference.
