The mission of Development Associates International (DAI) is to enhance the integrity and effectiveness of Christian leaders worldwide so that the Church fulfills its role in extending God’s kingdom. As missional shepherds, Greg and Betsy serve by encouraging believers to grow as followers of Christ. Their vision is to see a movement of the Holy Spirit throughout Iceland and Europe characterized by growing disciples and healthy leaders who help others find and follow Jesus so that the church grows organically. They and their Iceland team pray with, encourage, mentor and provide training for leaders through writing, face-to-face as well as virtual meetings, and telecommunication.

Jaime began his ministry at age 24 working in the media department with Wycliffe Bible Translators, dubbing the Jesus Film into different languages in Peru. In 2000 he traveled to the US to study vernacular media, and in 2004 he was invited by Hossan organization in New Mexico (faithcomesbyhearing.com) to start recording in audio the New Testament for the different languages in Peru.
In 2009 he started a non-profit organization called ILMAV (Impacting Minorities Languages with Audio Visual) to train people in how to do dubbing and recording for other languages. Today, ILMAV's full-time staff of nine serves minority groups in Peru and Latin America by providing knowledge based on the Word of God through the development of audiovisual materials. Since 2009, ILMAV has produced Scripture recordings in 65 languages and has dubbed film and audio Bible resources.

The G family serves on a disciple-making team in North Africa. In this season they are primarily learning the local culture, language, and conducting business research so they can eventually begin a business to gain long-term residency. In doing so, they pray and work towards building relationships with people from the various unreached people groups in their region in anticipation of introducing them to Christ through the Scriptures, discipling them to obey His teachings and worship Him, and baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Greek InterVarsity is a strategic ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. It exists to reach a unique and influential demographic of the college campus and to equip them with teaching, training and resources to become leaders on campus and world changers in their lives after graduation. Through annual Greek Conferences, group meetings on campus and Bible studies in fraternities & sororities, Greek InterVarsity seeks to make the relevance of Jesus Christ known throughout the Greek system.
Each year, Greek Conferences allow students to participate in tracks designed to help those who are in varying places spiritually –those who are just exploring faith, those who want to learn to more about how to connect with God, those who want to learn how to share their faith on campus, and graduating seniors who are learning how to follow Jesus after graduation. Kim provides administrative support for these conferences, from budgets and hotel contracts, to registration and on-site logistics.

HEART Ministries’ mission is to bring hope to the lost and hurting. They are currently working with ministries in Haiti, India and Mexico. David and Sunisha Henry (and sons Daniel and Dennis) are medical missionaries in India … and so much more. They oversee a wide ranging ministry that includes hospital work (David is a dermatologist, Sunisha an ophthalmologist), where they see many patients daily for skin and eye treatment. According to need and demand, they organize free medical camps in unreached areas. Under their teaching program, they have a school and hostel for children. Currently, 250 children are in school and receiving a high quality education. In the hostel, children learn high moral values and are given biblical teachings in daily devotions. Their vocational training program educates participants in sewing, computer use, electrical installation, tractor driving, and poultry farming.

The Ingersolls have served in Newark for over 30 years and still have a vision to witness revival in this great city. Partnering with leaders who also long to see Kingdom restoration in Newark, they are working through prayer ministries and Gospel outreach on the streets of Newark through a program called “Saturate”. David serves as an elder at Community Transformation Church (CTC), a predominately Black church plant, facilitating the services, leading the prayer ministry, coordinating outreach, and preaching in rotation. He is currently working toward being licensed and ordained as a pastor. Carol serves with David at CTC in prayer, outreach, and teaching Bible studies. She also ministers as a fourth-grade teacher in a Christian school. The Ingersolls have three young adult children, Joshua, Stephen and Rebekah.

World Outreach (WO) is the mission-sending agency of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Their principal calling is to glorify God by starting disciple-making movements among least-reached people groups, especially among Muslims.
Jeff and Lynne serve as leaders with WO in Southeast Asia focusing on prayer mobilization, proclamation of the gospel and partnership with Southeast Asian nationals. GVPC has been financially partnering with them for over 10 years. They are seeking to see a disciple-making movement among one of the major unreached Muslim peoples there.

Mike is the director of the International Theological Education Network, a ministry of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. ITEN partners with nationals to develop leaders for new churches among people groups where Jesus is unknown or misunderstood. It is partnership with a purpose—deep discipleship. ITEN assists in training those who go where we cannot. Stephanie works with ITEN as an educational consultant. Through ongoing assessment, she encourages ITEN to adopt best practices in cross-cultural education. Mike and Stephanie lived twenty-eight years in countries around the Mediterranean—France, Morocco, Egypt and Lebanon. During those years, their primary role was discipleship and leadership development in Muslim majority areas. They speak Arabic and French. The Kuhn’s currently reside in Bellingham, WA. Their three daughters are married and, between them, have given Mike and Stephanie seven grandchildren.

Nan serves with the Christian Embassy, which is part of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). After several years of campus ministry in Pennsylvania, Nan and her late husband Sam left Great Valley and headed to D.C., where she has ministered to leaders in Congress since 1979. In 2005, Nan reached out to governors' spouses. Evangelism is her passion, and she authored Entertaining for Eternity to encourage others to share Christ through hospitality.
In 2015, she married Jim Huhta, and their ministry together has broadened. Nan has three grown, married children who started their spiritual journeys at Great Valley Presbyterian Church.

Pioneers' passion has been to see God glorified among those who are physically and spiritually isolated from the gospel of Jesus Christ. Today, 2.9 billion people live among languages and cultures with no church. In response, Pioneers sends church-planting teams to serve among these 7,000-plus people groups. After years of service in southeast Asia, Mike and Elisabeth now work at the US Mobilization Base where Mike serves as HR Coordinator for Field Members and Child Safety Case Manager. Elisabeth serves in Member Care as Director of TCK/Family Resources. She and her team develop and run programs for TCKs (Third Culture Kids, growing up in a foreign culture) offering resources, educational consulting, and emotional support that helps families thrive in challenging circumstances on the field.

Novo, formerly Church Resource Ministries (CRM), is a band of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for mission around the world. As a leadership development trainer, Lynn equips and supports Christian leaders who serve in cross-cultural settings to avoid burn-out and stay focused on Jesus. Her jobs include curriculum development, administration, exploring options for future refocusing networks, and coaching participants as they work through the process of putting together their Intentional Development Plans. Lynn travels to Southeast Asia several times a year to personally oversee this mission work.

KAKO Retreat Center provides Christ-centered retreats, youth camps, workshops, seminars, and counseling to encourage and help the people living in the remote villages of Alaska. Within an 80 mile radius there are 24 villages and within 160 mile radius, there are 56 villages. Since the area is so isolated and has virtually no road system, the primary means of transportation is by airplane.
Dave and Vera Penz founded the facility in 1989. In 2007, Jonathan joined the efforts to pioneer and maintain the Kako vision and seek to build into the ministry’s future. Sharon became part of the team when she and Jonathan married in 2012. Jonathan is Kako’s chief pilot, a musician, a diesel mechanic by trade, and alumnus of Moody Bible Institute.

The Daniel Foundation derives its name from the book of Daniel, in which God’s people were faithful to Yahweh while in exile, living in foreign land filled with foreign deities. Because God’s greatest commandment, to “love one’s neighbor as oneself,” is tDf's greatest concern, we walk alongside men from every location on the spiritual spectrum, offering our presence, support and timely service as they journey through life’s many peaks and valleys.
Some men are best aided by providing a quiet setting in which to stop, settle and think out loud about relational, vocational or parental dilemmas they face. This happens in one-on-one and in small group settings. Still other men, who are spiritually alert but religiously disillusioned, seek help in developing a more meaningful relationship with Christ, or perhaps becoming (re)connected to a church. Still others need assistance as they explore the Christian faith, in a serious way, for the first time. I cannot thank GVPC enough for their generous and enduring partnership without which, this mission would not be possible.

Erika, the eldest daughter of MVI missionaries Eric and Marilyn Loftsgard, first moved to Managua when she was 9 and attended NCAI as a student before returning after college to become the 6th grade teacher. Dan, the son of Brian and Julie Turner, grew up in Great Valley and moved to Nicaragua in 2013 after graduating from college. He took a teaching position at NCAI where he met Erika. They were married in the summer of 2019 and continue to live in Managua and work as teachers at NCAI.

The goal of BEE World is to help the church fulfill the Great Commission by providing high quality Biblical training that equips and multiplies servant leaders in restricted access countries. These leaders and pastors want this training but cannot go to a Bible college or seminary in their setting. BEE World uses a proven, Bible-based curriculum that trains the leaders to understand Scripture more profoundly, to do their job better, and to train others also. The result is multiplying churches with greater Biblical depth and maturity. (Note: BEE = Biblical Education by Extension).
Rich serves as a Course Facilitator and “commutes” four times a year to India to bring the Bible college to the students. During the pandemic he has been meeting with one key group regularly on Zoom. The students are pastors, church planters, or women’s ministry leaders, almost all first-generation converts. They study the course materials in their own language and also teach them to groups of other leaders and potential leaders. Rich lives near Denver, Colorado with his wife, Becky. Their adult children, Ian and Chris and their families, live nearby them. Rich grew up at Great Valley and his parents, the late Peter and Isabelle, were active members.

Anne Marie works with The International School Project, a Cru ministry that equips educators in 30 countries to make disciples and start communities for teachers. Novo, formerly Church Resource Ministries (CRM), is a band of creative missionaries sent to multiply movements of the gospel and mobilize the church for mission around the world. As a leadership development trainer, Lynn equips and supports Christian leaders who serve in cross-cultural settings to avoid burn-out and stay focused on Jesus. Her jobs include curriculum development, administration, exploring options for future refocusing networks, and coaching participants as they work through the process of putting together their Intentional Development Plans. Lynn travels to Southeast Asia several times a year to personally oversee this mission work.

KAKO Retreat Center provides Christ-centered retreats, youth camps, workshops, seminars, and counseling to encourage and help the people living in the remote villages of Alaska. Within an 80 mile radius there are 24 villages and within 160 mile radius, there are 56 villages. Since the area is so isolated and has virtually no road system, the primary means of transportation is by airplane.
Dave and Vera Penz founded the facility in 1989. In 2007, Jonathan joined the efforts to pioneer and maintain the Kako vision and seek to build into the ministry’s future. Sharon became part of the team when she and Jonathan married in 2012. Jonathan is Kako’s chief pilot, a musician, a diesel mechanic by trade, and alumnus of Moody Bible Institute.

The Daniel Foundation derives its name from the book of Daniel, in which God’s people were faithful to Yahweh while in exile, living in foreign land filled with foreign deities. Because God’s greatest commandment, to “love one’s neighbor as oneself,” is tDf's greatest concern, we walk alongside men from every location on the spiritual spectrum, offering our presence, support and timely service as they journey through life’s many peaks and valleys.
Some men are best aided by providing a quiet setting in which to stop, settle and think out loud about relational, vocational or parental dilemmas they face. This happens in one-on-one and in small group settings. Still other men, who are spiritually alert but religiously disillusioned, seek help in developing a more meaningful relationship with Christ, or perhaps becoming (re)connected to a church. Still others need assistance as they explore the Christian faith, in a serious way, for the first time. I cannot thank GVPC enough for their generous and enduring partnership without which, this mission would not be possible.

Dan and Erika live in Managua and serve as missionary teachers at Nicaragua Christian Academy International (NCAI). Erika, the eldest daughter of MVI missionaries Eric and Marilyn Loftsgard, first moved to Managua when she was 9 and attended NCAI as a student before returning after college to become the 6th grade teacher. Dan, the son of Brian and Julie Turner, grew up in Great Valley and moved to Nicaragua in 2013 after graduating from college. He took a teaching position at NCAI where he met Erika. They were married in the summer of 2019 and continue to live in Managua and work as teachers at NCAI.

The goal of BEE World is to help the church fulfill the Great Commission by providing high quality Biblical training that equips and multiplies servant leaders in restricted access countries. These leaders and pastors want this training but cannot go to a Bible college or seminary in their setting. BEE World uses a proven, Bible-based curriculum that trains the leaders to understand Scripture more profoundly, to do their job better, and to train others also. The result is multiplying churches with greater Biblical depth and maturity. (Note: BEE = Biblical Education by Extension).
Rich serves as a Course Facilitator and “commutes” four times a year to India to bring the Bible college to the students. During the pandemic he has been meeting with one key group regularly on Zoom. The students are pastors, church planters, or women’s ministry leaders, almost all first-generation converts. They study the course materials in their own language and also teach them to groups of other leaders and potential leaders. Rich lives near Denver, Colorado with his wife, Becky. Their adult children, Ian and Chris and their families, live nearby them. Rich grew up at Great Valley and his parents, the late Peter and Isabelle, were active members.

Cru’s purpose is to help build spiritual movements everywhere, so everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus. Mark and Anne Marie help make disciples through publishing. Mark serves as a project manager, helping Cru’s commendations professionals on several different teams coordinate their work. He also serves as managing editor for Cru Storylines. Anne Marie works with The International School Project, a Cru ministry that equips educators in 30 countries to make disciples and start communities for teachers. They also teach Writing for Life classes, training writers for Christian organizations. Over the last 35 years, both have served as writers, correspondents from Asia, and editors.
