ITEN

"It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel; I will make you as a light for the nations, that my salvation may reach to the end of the earth." - Isaiah 49:6.

Mike is the director of the International Theological Education Network, a ministry of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  ITEN partners with nationals to develop leaders for new churches among people groups where Jesus is unknown or misunderstood. It is partnership with a purpose—deep discipleship. ITEN assists in training those who go where we cannot. Stephanie works with ITEN as an educational consultant. Through ongoing assessment, she encourages ITEN to adopt best practices in cross-cultural education.  Mike and Stephanie lived twenty-eight years in countries around the Mediterranean—France, Morocco, Egypt and Lebanon. During those years, their primary role was discipleship and leadership development in Muslim majority areas.  They speak Arabic and French. The Kuhn’s currently reside in Bellingham, WA. Their three daughters are married and, between them, have given Mike and Stephanie seven grandchildren.
