"But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God."- Acts 20:24

For 43 years Nan served with the Christian Embassy, which is part of Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ). In 1979, after several years of campus ministry in Pennsylvania, Nan and her late husband Sam left Great Valley and headed to D.C., where she has ministered to leaders in Congress. In 2005, Nan stared a ministry to governors' spouses. Evangelism is her passion, and she authored Entertaining for Eternity to encourage others to share Christ through hospitality.

In 2015, Nan married Dr. Jim Huhta (a fetal cardiologist), and their ministry together has broadened. Nan and Jim now work together with Cru’s Momentum Europe and Global Impact ministries reaching leaders on that continent. Jim speaks to doctors all over Europe. Nan has three grown, married children who started their spiritual journeys at Great Valley Presbyterian Church.
