Robert Scott

Bob has been part of the Great Valley family for years, bringing a deep commitment to expository preaching and Biblical formation to everything he does. He has taught numerous adult Christian Education classes, filled the pulpit many times, and currently serves as a Ruling Elder.

After studying Bible in Germany and Austria and then finishing an under-graduate degree in psychology, Bob received his M.Div. from Denver Seminary and was ordained to the Ministry in 1989. He served on faculty with Torchbearers Missionary Fellowship at Ravencrest Chalet Bible School (Estes Park, CO) as a Bible teacher and Dean of Students for many years, often traveling overseas to preach and teach.  Bob has served three churches as Pastor - one as Senior Pastor and two as Interim Pastor.  Along with his wife, Roxana, he founded Kardian Ministries in 1997 to support a wide-ranging teaching and preaching ministry both domestically and internationally; serving as conference speaker, guest lecturer at Bible schools and church seminars, plus itinerant evangelist work in more than ten countries.

Now a Phoenixville resident, Bob was married for 37 years to Roxana ("Roxy"), a beloved member of our church community who passed away in 2020 and is deeply missed by all who knew her. He is the father of four adult children (who each love the Lord, PTL) and is ‘Papa’ to 10 (soon to be 11) wonderful grandchildren.
